La Baumoderie : A charming Bed and Breakfast in the Loire Valley
In the heart of the Loire Valley, between Chinon and Azay-le Rideau, in the land of Rabelais, come and enjoy the treasures of the Garden of France
in a B & B combining space, refinement and confort.
Chateaux and castles Chinon and Azay-le-Rideau are just nearby, Langeais, Rigny-Ussé, Villandry, Fontevraud... and all the other ones just a little bit further.
Wines The vineyard of Chinon is surrounding us, Bourgueil and Saumur are 7 or 8 leagues away, and 10 or 12 for Vouvray and Montlouis.
The Midless of the Touraine Within the Natural Reserve Loire-Anjou-Touraine,the art of enjoying life, the quiet, the exceptional view from the hill dominating the Vienne, the proximity of the forest and of the vineyard, everything inclines you to stroll around and to rest.
The old farm has recently been restored with a lot of refinement and a meticulous care of confort.
The washes, coatings, tadelakt,and « rocaille » are home made.
The garden too is subject to our constant care, and each year new stone walls, trellis or « plessis » are apearing under the attentive gaze of the frogs in the pond.
And the view... we have not done anything for it, but it's there, waiting for you to enjoy it.
