Les Fleurons : an exceptionnal Bed and Breakfast in the heart o the Loire Valley
Les Fleurons is a beautiful 17th century townhouse, perfectly situated in the most historic part of Amboise between the River Loire and the Royal Château. There are magnificent views from all the rooms, looking either directly over the river or at the Château ramparts.
The luxury accommodation offers spacious bedrooms with antique furniture and modern en-suite bathrooms. With just 4 guestrooms you can be sure of a warm welcome and friendly personal service throughout your stay.
Freshly prepared continental breakfasts are served in the stylish dining room overlooking the Loire, or on the sheltered terrace with its views of the Château. Wherever possible locally- sourced and organic produce is used.
Ideally situated in the picturesque heart of the town, it is just a few moments stroll to excellent restaurants, shops and market. Both the Château and the Clos Lucé are an easy walk, while Amboise offers the perfect base for visiting the Chateaux of the Loire and local vineyards.
All our rooms have a very special view, either directly over the Loire or of the Château Royal. Each bedroom is on the first floor and has comfortable beds with crisp cotton linen, lots of space and your comfort in mind. All rooms have private en-suite bathrooms with either shower or bath, heated towel rail, hairdryer and an ample supply of fluffy white towels. Each room has it’s own carefully chosen mix of antique and modern furnishings, with fabrics from Zoffany and paints from Farrow & Ball.
Loire by Bike
Amboise offers the perfect 2-day stopover if you are following the Loire à Vélo route. Being just strolling distance from the town centre many of our cycling guests choose to abandon their bikes for the day and explore on foot. There is plenty to see with the Royal Château, the Clos Lucé and many small shops & restaurants. Alternatively, Château de Chenonceau is just 16km away and is therefore an easy loop by bike for a day trip.
At Les Fleurons we try to give you as much insight as possible into the Loire Valley and France in general before & during your trip, to be sure that you are well prepared and make the most of your visit. This is all part of our service and is aimed at making your stay here a great experience.
