  • So many walks to choose from – alongside the pond, through the woods on private and marked footpaths, towards the gallo-roman bridge .

Owners description

At the heart of Berry and the Brenne Regional Park, the domain of the castle of Ris de Feu is a haven of peace of 370 acres of forest.

Its fifteenth century manor, its tower and its out buildings, will make you travel through the centuries.

Formerly, on the border land of the king of England and those of the King of France, it is now your guest house. Caroline and her husband Luc, will make you discover the treasures of Berry.

In privacy, your steps will take you along the 15 miles of private roads in the forest along the lake, the river Anglin and the pond.

If you follow the banks of the stream called the “Ris”, you'll come across the sources, the Gallo-Roman bridge, the fauna and flora.
