Owners description

Close to the collegiate church, Clos Violet stands at the corner of Rue Pasteur and Rue Denfert Rochereau. This three story house built in the XVIIth still, on its southern side, retains an original cross and window frames from the XVth century. At walking distance of the heart of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and its colorful Provencal markets and cafés, you can enjoy downtown area before come back to our peaceful guest house. 

Our facility enables you to enjoy a heated indoor pool as much in summer than winter time in the heart of a lush garden.

Réjane and Richard will be delighted to welcome you for breakfast in the kitchen dining area or in the shade of ancient lime tree, both sites overlooking the garden. You can taste the homemade jams and juices, freshly made pastries from the local baker and fresh fruits from the nearby orchards.

A welcoming library is always opened for you to discover the treasures it holds, drink an aperitif offered by your hosts, listen to music or watch some TV. In the winter time the warmth provided by the ongoing fireplace will be waiting for you, with a selection of teas and freshly made biscuits, comfortably installed in the deep sofas.

History

After two years of restoration, the hosts will be much pleased to welcome you in the their ancient mansion.

Proudly standing in the centre of L'isle sur sorgue (also called "the Venice of Provence") , this XVIIth century mansion will offer a peaceful break during your stay in our wonderful city.

You will discover historical remains on the facade from the XVth and XVIth centuries.

The centre of L'Isle sur la Sorgue was formerly the principal residence for Avignon dignitaries and counted many convents.  They settled there to find the freshness they didn't get in Avignon.

Close to the "Collégiale Notre dame des Anges", you will stay in a charming suite. You will choose either the "Nomade", "Zen", Sarah Bernhardt" or "Loft", different styles for a quiet and peaceful break.

Summer and winter you will enjoy the small heated swimming pool and its massages and rest under an old limetree.
