Owners description

An unspoilt XVIIIth century Manor.

This XVIIIth century manorhouse offers you a warm welcome in a family setting. The rooms are up-to-date and comfortable, elegant and sober, in keeping with the spirit of the place, a convivial country house.

From the Chambre de Mademoiselle to the regal suite, Un Ange passe, to the romantic Mignonne Allons voir or the delicate Rose et Céleste, each is admirably decorated with graceful good taste and confers on the Manor an atmosphere of elegance and serenity.

Breakfast is served in the Lounge where the wood panelling, parquet floor and period stonework faithfully transmit its 18th century heritage.

For a weekend visit, an amorous rendez-vous or for a family holiday in Brittany, the Manorhouse of La Villeneuve is ideal.

A land with close links to the sea ..

Castles and country houses, museums, country walks, visits to gardens, gastronomic tours, and with a range of sporting activities, the region is rich in sicoveies to be made. St Malo, Mont St Michel, and Dinan, but also the little ports of Dahouet and Erquy, the rugged cliffs of Cap Fréhel, the sweeping beaches of Pléneuf Val André. Further west lies the Red Granite coast, the fashionably smart port of Perros-Guirec, or the wild rocks of Ploumanach.

There's Pontrieux, the castle of La Roche Jagu with gardens and stunning views, as well as the town of Paimpol and the beauteous isle of Bréhat. And these are only some of the treasures of Nature and History that await you.

Whether you are a keen golfer, an energetic walker, a gastronomic gourmet, or simply out for a holiday stroll, we invite you to sample our countryside and our coastline.

Our guesthouse is a wonderful starting point for a host of expeditions, cultural visits or diverse tourist activities along the Emerald Coast, the Red Granite Coast, or the Penthièvre.
