The house.

This charming manor with a lot of character has recently been entirely renovated to accommodate our guests. It reflects the architecture of the mid XIXth Century. It was built as a family home by a RONCHAMP notary and was subsequently acquired by the GIRARDOT family of foundry fame, who lived there for several generations until 2008.

The restoration paid careful attention to the color palette as well as to the materials with refined wallpapers and the Farrow & Ball paints color chart, all for the sake of authenticity.

The Manufacture ZUBER's braided friezes, the FLIPPO Co.'s carpets as well as a new edition of Madeleine CASTAING fabrics by the Edmond PETIT Co., all added their special note to create the desired atmosphere of calm, of serenity.

The Garden

At the water's edge, structured by centuries old trees, lies the garden with its majestic clumps of rhododendrons and the formal geometry of its reclaimed vegetable beds.

The current renovation aims at conserving the existing elements, meanwhile establishing new shade gardens under the trees and subtle and fragrant mixed borders in the sun.

The vegetable and herb garden will, of course, be the inspiration for the food of the guest table.

Food and wine

Emmanuel, your host and gastronome in residence will be happy to share with you his scrumptious seasonal dishes solely made of fresh and quality market produce.

A generous breakfast is served in the reception rooms - or in the garden, by the river, during the Summer.

Continental breakfast or vegetarian meals upon request.
