La Devinie

La Devinie is a big family house, you will discover that your hosts reserved you of big living spaces with a sophisticated decoration. Three gardens of charm, an Italian-style for beautiful souvenir photos, two others suspended gardens on the rampart with a magnificent pond for a refreshing bath, intimate, well-kept gardens.

Guest houses possess quite their appropriate character, an atmosphere and a name of famous perfume brand, an indication suggestive of the notion of time which is good to take in these soothing places.

The first foundations of the house  raise in the middle of the XIIIth century, a complete reorganization in summer realized in the XVIIth century, and finally a signature "XIXth century" for better structured spaces. We underlined these historic testimonies with passion.

La Devinie is in the medieval village of MARTEL, any facilities, restaurants and discoveries on foot. Try the small tourist train of MARTEL suspended above the valley of the Dordogne, fetch some truffles at our friends...

La Devinie is at the heart of the biggest cultural and natural sites of Quercy and of nearby departments. Rocamadour, Padirac, the caves of Lacave, Collonge Red, Sarlat, the gardens of Marqueyssac, Eyrignac, Cadiot... Of the sport? Go down the Dordogne in canoe, play golf (in 20 min), go hiking on foot, or go for a ride with mountain bike...
